Linda McMahon wins Primary with No Outside Interference

The following contest is scheduled for one fall.  Introducing first, she hails from the lovely state of Connecticut and weights in at $50 million dollars in personal reserves.  She is married to a man so off his rocker his wrestlers wonder if he’s human.  This is Linda McMahon!

Ladies and Gentlemen, beloved star of the Brady Bunch and… oh wait, I’m sorry, um… the WWE’s former CEO Linda McMahon!

In a true pro-wrestling tale played out in the political arena, Linda McMahon started out the heavy underdog.  But sometimes those underdogs go a long way!  Especially when you have the money to back it up.  That’s exactly what happened with Linda McMahon who easily won the Republican Senate nomination for the Republican Party.  Her opponent Rob Simmons recently launched attacks against her and the raunchy WWE.  And just like the WWE, since both are Republicans, both will now have to heal old wounds and Rob will have to support Linda or keep his yap shut.

Linda McMahon is also a pro-choice Republican, which is interesting.  Even more interesting is that most Republicans aren’t portrayed as you’re typical pro-wrestling sort of crowd either.  Which makes this victory even more remarkable.  But as Linda says, she isn’t a career politician.  However, she dealt with the politics of professional wrestling.  Having worked in that industry, sometimes the politics there are just as bad.

Now Linda stands poised to be the first female Connecticut Senator, which would be quite an accomplishment.  She still faces a long road ahead of her, but hey, crazier things have happened.  Jesse Ventura was proof.  I’m just amazed she got this far, but I think money goes a long way.
